The Patient Transfer Unit at IASIS Hospital has four (4) modern ambulances whose equipment meets the requirements under Greek Law and is regularly upgraded in line with international standards. It has also two small vehicles to transfer ambulatory patients within the city limits.

The Patient Transfer Unit operates around the clock, 365 days a year, and is staffed by experienced paramedicals trained by the National Centre for Emergency Care (EKAB) and physicians qualified to handle any emergency under safe transfer conditions.
