In order to ensure the highest possible access to its services, Iasis Hospital has signed a cooperation agreement with the National Organisation for Primary Healthcare (EOPYY).

Thus, persons insured with public insurance funds can come to the Wards and Laboratories at Iasis using the Health Booklet issued by the relevant public insurance fund.

The Patients' Admission & Discharge Office is responsible for any information about admissions and discharges to and from any department of the Hospital.

In the event of a scheduled admission, the patient comes to the Hospital's Secretariat to receive the Admission Note. The supporting documents required are:

Iasis Hospital ensures excellent accommodation conditions for patients.

The Hospital offers suites, single-bed, two-bed and three-bed wards. Each bed is equipped with a sophisticated, specially designed console which enables the patient to call the nursing staff, and special lighting.

There is also a telephone, TV and air conditioning, as well as wireless connection to the internet (Wi-Fi).

Relatives and friends of inpatients can visit every day from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 18.00 to 21.00.

The attending physician is the only person responsible for the discharge of a patient from the Hospital. If the attending physician orders the discharge of a patient, the latter will receive a Discharge Note and will be given all necessary medical instructions.

If a patient wishes to be transferred in an ambulance, the Supervisor of the floor where the relevant ward is located should be informed in plenty of time, so as to avoid any delays in the issue of the discharge note.

Once the Discharge Note is issued, the patient or his/her companion should come to the Admission & Discharge Office/Accounting Office to settle any financial issues.
